At Corazon Wellness & Coaching, I provide compassionate and culturally competent therapy in both Spanish and English to adults aged 18 and up residing in South Carolina or Florida.

My practice is a private pay therapy practice. There are many benefits to seeing an out-of-network/private pay therapist, such as:

Increased privacy: Your information will not be shared with your insurance company or employer.

More flexibility to choose what works best for you: Insurance companies may stop paying for sessions if you show improvement. With a private pay therapist, you decide when you're ready to end counseling.

No need for a diagnosis: We can work on the issues that matter to you, even if you don't meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis.

Ability to work on issues that insurance doesn't traditionally cover: We can address preventive care and other concerns that insurance may not cover.
I believe you should have options in your care. If you would like to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company, I recommend calling them to ask about this process. I can provide you with a superbill (itemized receipt) to file with your insurance company. However, I cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse you (or how much your reimbursement may be). Seeking out-of-network reimbursement usually requires a diagnosis, so please let me know if you plan to go this route so we can discuss the risks and benefits.
For your convenience, I accept various forms of payment, including Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), credit cards, and debit cards.
Appointment Scheduling

Therapy sessions are initially set up on a weekly or biweekly basis. During our initial session, we will determine the course of therapy and establish goals tailored to your needs. Every 90 days, we will evaluate our progress and adjust our plan to ensure we are on track to meet your goals.
